Well, today is Saturday and we finally made it back to Cody, WY. We got in here about 1:30 this afternoon. We left F.E.Warren AFB yesterday morning and got as far as Thermopolis, WY where we went to a campsite that was called the Fountain of Youth RV Park. It was not a very nice park, but a place to spend the night. We were all pretty worn out after the last few days. When we got to the park and starting setting up, Dale noticed that some of the rubber on the sidewall of one of his tires had come off. So...day 3 on the road, problem #3 on the road. Once again called On-Star and no luck. Called their insurance company, and no luck. Called the extended warranty on the trailer, and no luck. So, this morning, Wayne and Dale changed out the tire. Then we headed out for Cody. We arrived here about 1:30 this afternoon. Dale and Jen's friends, Neal and Kathy, were already at the park and she had fixed pulled pork for us for supper tonight. So, we ate an early supper and got ready to go into town. When Wayne and I were in Cody in July, we went to a music show downtown in the Cody Theater. This same band plays every night all summer, except for Sundays. We enjoyed it very much and suggested that we all go see it. It was just as good this time as it was last time. The band consists of a man by the name of Dan Miller, his 15 year old daughter, Hannah, another lady named Wendy and an awesome lead guitar player named Ed. Then we went to my favorite place for a milk shake and came back to camp and sat out by the fire in our jackets and sweatshirts until about 11:30. We are staying at the same campground we stayed in almost 2 months ago. It is a real nice, clean campground, great people run it. It also had a laundry on site, so I don't have to go to town to do my wash. It's been another good day. Will post again soon.
Some of the beautiful scenery between Thermopolis and Cody, WY.
